Time for a Classroom Reboot!

Let's face it.  Classroom management and organization is an ongoing process.

I am constantly seeking out new techniques, products, and ideas to maintain order in my classroom.  The current holiday break has given me time to reflect on my classroom environment and I am ready to make some changes.
If you need to reboot your classroom organization, here is a bundle that you will love!

It will enable you to quickly and easily make some changes and start the new year off right!

I am so excited about this bundle because it includes new management techniques, behavior interventions, decor, forms, and all sorts of other organizational must haves!  It's only $10.99 and includes over 600 pages of items that can be quickly and easily implemented when you return to your classroom!

The popcorn version of my Pizza Pan Praise is included in this bundle.  You make the chart out of a metal pizza pan and then hang it on your classroom wall or whiteboard.  You add a piece of popcorn each time your students are on task and following classroom rules.

I have been using this in my classroom this year and the kids are motivated to follow the rules!  I love using POSITIVE behavior support in my classroom!

But this is just one product from the bundle.  There are 14 others!  Here's a quick peek, but you can head over the Educents post to read about each one!

It's only for a limited time so you won't want to miss out!

We also have a great giveaway where you can win one additional product from each of the participating stores.  Just enter by writing a comment below about one thing you would like to change in your classroom.
 {Oh you can pin something too for an extra entry!}

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your holiday!

First Annual Holiday Cookie Swap Linky Party!

I just had to link up with Emily at The Reading Tutor/ OG when I saw this Holiday Cookie Swap linky!

What a great idea!  It's a virtual holiday cookie exchange!

I have fond memories of baking holiday cookies with my family when I was a child and I continued that tradition with my children.  Most of our favorite cookies today are the ones I baked as a child.

My parent both grew up in Wisconsin and one of the recipe books that we have used throughout the years is one compiled by the Wisconsin Electric Power Company from 1965.

One of our favorite cookies (ok, brownies) from this book is Frosted Marshmallow Brownies!  They are so yummy!  These have a fun marshmallow layer in between the brownie and the frosting!  Recipe calls for nuts in the brownie layer and powdered coffee in the frosting, but both can be left out.

Click on the picture to grab the recipe!

Enjoy your December and Happy Baking!

Year Round Resources - Meet the Number Friends 0-20!

Today I am highlighting a great product that can be found in the Educents bundle Year Round Resources from Top Teachers.

Last week (before all of the Thanksgiving craziness), we had a chance to use Meet the Number Friends (0-20) created by Andrea Crawford.

My Kinders are close to mastering their numbers 1-20, but are really having trouble with number words!  So I printed out this packet, and we got to work! I decided to focus on number words zero through five to start with.

We began by learning the cute number word chants that are included.  The students loved these!  We chanted and chanted and chanted!

Then each of the kids colored their number words booklet.

Then the kiddos got with a partner and played matching games, matching the numbers to the number words.

This packet is full of a lot more materials for learning numbers words 0-20! We love it and I know you will love it too!

And don't forget that Educents is currently having a Black Friday sale!  Enter code EDUCENTS20 to get 20% off of your entire order plus you will get a 10% credit back to use on a future order!
